HARV & KELLEY TURNER
LEAD PASTORS
Pastor Harv and Kelley Turner became the Lead Pastors of Sumiton Church of God in March of 2022. They have been married since 1986 and began ministry right after they were wed. They have a son, Dillon, married to Kristen, and a daughter, Sara. Pastor Harv attended Lee University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies from Central Christian University and will soon complete his master’s degree in Christian Counseling. Pastor Harv is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God and began ministry in 1981. Harv and Kelley have extensive ministry experience serving as student pastors, worship pastors, associate pastors, lead pastors, and State Youth and Discipleship Directors at different times and in multiple states. They have a passion for leading people to the Lord. From the beginning of their pastorate here, God impressed upon the church through Pastor Harv and Kelley that “Greater is Coming”.
PHILLIP & NICHOLE WALKER
FAMILY MINISTRIES PASTORS
Phillip and Nichole joined the staff of Sumiton Church of God in February 2017 where they serve as Family Ministries’ Pastors. They served as house parents at Smoky Mountain Children’s Home in Sevierville, Tennessee and as student pastors at Living Waters Christian Fellowship in Southern California. Phillip and Nichole married in September 2006 and have three children: Judah, Eliza, and Georgia. They enjoy teaching and sharing God's Word, helping students grow in and live out their faith, and watching football.

THEBRIDGE YOUNG ADULTS PASTORS
Joey and Nancy Clark became The Bridge Young Adult Pastors in September of 2022. They moved to Sumiton, AL from Bufford, GA and have been members of Sumiton Church of God since 2019. They have one daughter, Cailynn. They have a local coffee shop, The Blend (est. 2018), that has three locations (Sumiton, Dora, and Jasper, AL). They began ministering to young adults through The Blend and want to see more young adults in the community turn to Christ.

SUMITON KIDZ PASTORS
Jeremy and Amy Hall became the Sumiton Kidz Pastors in September of 2019. Jeremy and Amy are both passionate about education. Jeremy is a teacher and the head basketball coach at Sumiton Christian School. Amy is a teacher at Sumiton Middle School. They have a son, Stephen, and a daughter, Mary-Elizabeth. They desire to show children how to become disciples of Jesus and how to experience his power, presence and love
WAYNE BURNS
CO-LEADER J.O.Y. SENIOR ADULT MINISTRY
Wayne grew up as a pastor’s kid and learned most of his business and ministry skills from selling lots of hot dogs, doughnuts, and chicken and dressing dinners. He has been a member of many gospel groups and choirs. Singing is his passion and he considers it a privilege leading the senior adults.
CHERYL CRAUSWELL
CO-LEADER J.O.Y. SENIOR ADULT MINISTRY
Cheryl is a wife, mom, caregiver, piano teacher, and, last but not least, Senior Adult Ministry Leader. She has been a church musician for as long as she can remember and has also been involved with the youth and adult ministries.
